Questions and answers

What do I need to start a taxi business?

Generally you need a registered company, a taxi operator licence from the Swedish Transport Agency, a vehicle that meets the requirements, insurance and the required registrations with the Swedish Tax Agency. Exactly what applies depends on your situation – we help you get a clear overview.

Can you help me with the taxi operator licence?

Yes. We explain the requirements and help you prepare the application. The decision itself is made by the Swedish Transport Agency, and we cannot guarantee that it will be approved.

Do I need to have a company already?

No. We are happy to help you from the very beginning, including understanding the difference between a limited company and a sole trader.

Can you help me choose a vehicle?

Yes, we can help you think through relevant requirements and options, as well as financing and insurance. We do not sell cars or provide financing ourselves.

Can I get help wherever I live in Sweden?

Yes. All guidance is delivered digitally by phone, email and video meeting, so you can get help wherever you live.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you need help with. We first go through your needs and give you information about the price before any agreement is made. Government fees and third-party costs are separate.
